Scholarship Overview

Gorilla International Scholarship is offered by the Pittsburg State University . Gorilla International Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Need & Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is USD 6000. . Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade.

• The scholarship will be applied in the form of a tuition waiver for up to four years of full-time enrollment for undergraduate students and for up to two years of full-time enrollment for graduate students
• The scholarship may be rescinded if the cumulative GPA drops below 3.0
• The scholarship will not be applied to tuition during summer semesters
• Scholarship amount will depend upon the GPA of the students:
  • 3.80-4.0: $6,000 / year
  • 3.6-3.79: $5,000 / year
  • 3.4-3.59: $4,000 / year
  • 3.2-3.39: $3,000 / year
  • 2.7-3.19: $2,000 / year
