Scholarship Overview

Arkansas Tech University offers the Graduate Out of State Tuition Fee Waiver scholarship. Every semester, the International Students Office of Arkansas Tech University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Graduate Out of State Tuition Fee Waiver scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Master of Science in Information Technology. If we consider the amount of the Graduate Out of State Tuition Fee Waiver scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, or a closely-related field, from a regionally accredited college or university
• Have a minimum of 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00=A) in the last 60 hours of a student’s first bachelor’s degree program
• Have a minimum of 3.00 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00=A) in graduate work, if applicable
• Satisfy the English language proficiency requirement by submitting one of the following tests:
  • 80 on the Internet-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
  • 6.5 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
  • 60 on the PTE (Pearson Test of English)
• Must take GRE with acceptable scores
  • A minimum score of 150 on the Quantitative section of the GRE (excluding Emergency Management and Homeland Security program)
