Scholarship Overview

Helen K. Mussallem Prize in Nursing is awarded at University of Ottawa to international students applying for various Bachelors,Masters courses offered across Bachelor of Science in Nursing,Master of Science in Nursing (MScN),Master of Science in Nursing with Graduate Diploma Primary Health Care for Nurse Practitioners etc. Scholarship will be awarded to multiple candidates. This is a yearly award. This scholarship cover tuition. Indian students are eligible to apply for Helen K. Mussallem Prize in Nursing at University of Ottawa along with students from all other Countries. Students will have to fill an admission application form at University of Ottawa.

Eligibility

• The applicant must:
  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected/refugee status or an international student; 
  • be registered at the School of Nursing of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Ottawa;
  • attend a conference or a colloquium; and
  • demonstrate academic excellence

Application Process for this scholarship

• Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through https://scholarships.uottawa.ca , and should include:
  • a one-page statement from the candidate demonstrating his/her reasons and interest for attending a conference or a colloquium; 
  • a proof of registration to the conference or colloquium; and 
  • an estimate of travel expenses expected to be incurred (or receipts in the case of a conference or colloquium that hasalready taken place).
• Note : the applicant's financial account at the University of Ottawa must not be in deficit at the time of the application and at the time of the awarding should he/she be chosen as the recipient
