Scholarship Overview

HAN University of Applied Sciences offers the Holland Scholarship. Every semester, the International Students Office of HAN University of Applied Sciences awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Holland Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Bachelors of Communication. If we consider the amount of the Holland Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL and IELTS. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: CV.

Max scholarship per student: Euro 2,500 => Rs 2,27,650

Conversion rate used: 1 Euro = Rs. 93.25 (last updated 26th September 2024)

• This scholarship will be paid in two terms, €2,500 in March and €2,500 in September
• After that students can receive € 2,500 per year for the following 3 years of study. To get this they must continue earning the required 45 credits each year
• In order to receive the scholarship, students must have a Dutch bank account in their name

Eligibility

Applicants:

• The nationality of the applicant must be a non-EEA
• Must have not previously been enrolled in a degree at a university or university of applied sciences in the Netherlands
• Must have been accepted into a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN
• Must have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of at least 90 or a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE)

• A short video of yourself. Max. 3 minutes. Address the following:
  • Describe yourself and the things you excel in

  • Tell us about your chosen course of study at HAN
  • Imagine you’re working in a team. Based on your personality and/or experience, what role would you have and why?
  • What are your career ambitions? What and where do you think you’ll be 10 years from now (professionally speaking)?

• After Completion the Enrollment in a bachelors degree
• Students will receive an email inviting them to apply for a scholarship
• Students will be required to follow the link in the email invitation. Fill out the application and submit it digitally with the 3 items mentioned above
