  • The grant is offered by the University in recognition of the extra costs these students incur and gives financial support towards:
    • Accommodation costs incurred during the period of house hunting (hotel costs for example)
    • Additional transport costs during the period of study
    • Guarantor fees

Eligibility

  • To be considered for an award applicants must:

    • Be fully enrolled and starting their course in the 2022/23 academic year
    • Be paying the international fee for their course
    • Have chosen to live within a 40-mile radius of the University, or less than an hour away by the chosen method of transport
    • Be living with or intending to live with dependent children
    • Have a UK bank account in their name

    • A copy of a ticket and/or immigration stamp showing the date they entered the UK
