Scholarship Overview

Humber College offers the Humber College - International Entrance scholarships. Every year, the International Students Office of Humber College awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Humber College - International Entrance scholarships is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Bachelor of Industrial Design. If we consider the amount of the Humber College - International Entrance scholarships, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: LOR.

• This scholarship offers a CAD 2,000 reduction in tuition fees during the first two semesters of study (CAD 1,000 per semester)

Student Awards

Number of students to be awarded: 20

• A total of 20 scholarships will be awarded to new students starting in September, 15 scholarships will be awarded to new students starting in January, and 5 scholarships will be awarded to new students starting in May. Per every starting semester, each recipient must come from a different country. In other words, no more than one student from any single country may receive the award within the same starting semester

Eligibility

• XIIth: Applicant must have passed High School with an overall minimum grade point average (GPA) of 70 percent
• Required Courses: Grade 12th English 
• Portfolio: Applicants must submit a portfolio 
• English Language Proficiency Proof:
  • TOEFL: 84 with no single test score below 21
  • IELTS: 6.5 with no single test score below 6.0
  • PTE: Minimum score of 58 - 60
  • Duolingo - 115
  • ELP can be waived for the applicants having a minimum of 3 years of full-time study at the secondary school level where English is the primary language of instruction and evaluation, with acceptable grades in all English courses
• Humber may consider high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence for the international entrance scholarship, but due to the limited number of scholarships available, only those with the highest GPA (Grade Point Average) will be awarded. Humber's admissions team will calculate the GPA based on the high school transcripts received during the admissions assessment process
