India Academic Excellence Award is offered by the Queen's University Belfast to international students. India Academic Excellence Award is available for Indian students who want to study Bachelors Degree in the UK at the Queen's University Belfast. Every year, the university selects 15 candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is GBP 7500 at Queen's University Belfast. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship.

    • ALL Distance Learning programmes, foundation degree programmes and non-standard fee courses, including part-time programmes

Eligibility

  • Students must have firmly accepted an offer for a place on a full-time undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus, starting in the academic year 2022/23 and prior to commencement of study have met any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter
  • Applicants must achieve a minimum standard of 85% in CBSE examinations

  • Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the international tuition fee rate with their Domicile being India in order to be considered for this scholarship
  • Applicants must be ordinarily resident in India
  • Applicants must attend or have attended one of the schools named in the list of eligible schools
  • Any India Excellence Award is for entry to Queen’s University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23 and cannot be used for 2023/24 entry or any other year
  • Students must be self-funded
  • In the event that a student has received scholarship offers for a number of different programmes at Queen’s University Belfast, they will only be able to redeem one scholarship award. This will be the scholarship award for the course onto which they enrol in the 2022/23 academic year
  • Applicants may apply and/or be considered for more than one award administered by Queen’s University Belfast but if successful would receive the higher of the awards (with the lower value award cancelled or allocated to another applicant
