Scholarship Overview

INSEAD Padma and Rashmi Shah Social Enterprise Scholarship are offered at INSEAD - Singapore to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only single student. INSEAD Padma and Rashmi Shah Social Enterprise Scholarship are valued at Euro 20000 for single student who qualify from INSEAD - Singapore. Also, the INSEAD Padma and Rashmi Shah Social Enterprise Scholarship is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Masters Degree only. Applications for INSEAD Padma and Rashmi Shah Social Enterprise Scholarship at INSEAD - Singapore are filed separately. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: Essays. Along with the INSEAD Padma and Rashmi Shah Social Enterprise Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for INSEAD Padma and Rashmi Shah Social Enterprise Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to INSEAD - Singapore Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards INSEAD - Singapore community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

• Applicants :
  
  • must be enrolled or enrolling in the MBA at INSEAD
  • demonstrates a commitment to a career in social enterprise

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• First consideration will be given to candidates from small business environments, micro-community projects or welfare-related workplaces
• Preference will be given to candidates with non-financial or business-related qualifications as well as to qualified candidates with financial need

  • In 450 words, please demonstrate why you qualify for the award, for example: Which social project/venture have you been involved in that was both financially viable and socially responsible? How does your experience to date demonstrate your commitment to social enterprise? How have you made an impact? Give examples of your entrepreneurial spark and willingness to take on ambitious or risky challenges. How do your future career plans include social enterprise?

     

  • In 150 words provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year e.g. details of income (such as your income, investment income, savings, property rentals, etc) set against details of expenditure (such as local outgoings, INSEAD fees, rent living expenses). How do you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain a scholarship from INSEAD?
