Scholarship Overview

International Distinction Scholarship/University of Kansas is offered by the University of Kansas to international students. International Distinction Scholarship/University of Kansas is available for students from any country who want to study Bachelors Degree in the USA at the University of Kansas. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is USD 6000 at University of Kansas. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed high school with GPA of 3.5-3.74 on a 4.0 scale
• To renew a KU International Admissions scholarship each year, students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and enroll in a minimum of 27 credits at KU

Application Process for this scholarship

• Official proof of English proficiency.
• A résumé or CV that includes all extracurricular activities, leadership, service, and awards, and explanations of three included activities and why they are meaningful to you
• Two letters of recommendation
• SAT or ACT scores, if available
• A 500-word essay on the topic of your choice, though the following are recommended:
  • Your personal and academic goals and how you hope to achieve them at KU
  • Your field of study and specialized interests within it
  • How you intend to use what you learn at KU upon return to your home country
