Scholarship Overview

International Entrance Awards is awarded at Langara College to international students applying for various Bachelors,Bachelors Diploma courses offered across Associate of Science Degree in Physics,Associate of Science Degree in Biology,Associate of Science Degree in Mathematics,Associate of Science in Computer Science,BBA in Marketing Management etc. Scholarship will be awarded to multiple candidates. Those who qualify to get this scholarship, are awarded CAD 5000, which is a one time award. This scholarship cover tuition. Students must have passed 12th to be eligible for International Entrance Awards. Also, students needs to submit the following exams: IELTS, . Indian students are eligible to apply for International Entrance Awards at Langara College along with students from multiple countries. Students will have to fill an admission application form at Langara College.

Eligibility

• Applicants must:-
  • Be approved for admission to Langara as an international student (study permit holder)
  • Have met all admission requirements and received an offer of admission
  • Intend to study full-time (nine or more credits) in a regular studies undergraduate program
  • Have IELTS 7.0 or equivalent. Please note, students who are residents and have completed formal education from English-speaking countries may be exempt from this requirement. Grades in English courses will be considered
  • Have a B+ average, equivalent to a GPA of 3.33 or 76% from their previous institution (high school or post-secondary). Current high school students may submit their Grade 11 transcripts or interim Grade 12 transcripts for consideration

Application Process for this scholarship

• Copy of your offer of admission letter;
• Copy of IELTS score or equivalent, if applicable;
• Copies of transcripts from previous institutions showing a minimum average of B+ (or equivalent);
  • Current high school students may submit their Grade 11 transcripts or interim Grade 12 transcripts for consideration
• Personal statement that describes your reason(s) for applying for this entrance award and outline and academic merit or contribution to the learning community that would qualify you to receive it

Official English translations of the above documents must also be submitted if the original documents are not written in English
