International Master's (IMSA) Awards is a type of scholarship which is offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University student. Amount for International Master's (IMSA) Awards is not mentioned by the University of Waterloo. Also, the International Master's (IMSA) Awards is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Masters Degree only. Applications for International Master's (IMSA) Awards at University of Waterloo are filed separately. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. Along with the International Master's (IMSA) Awards application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for International Master's (IMSA) Awards would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

• Students must be enrolled full-time in research-based graduate degree programs at the University of Waterloo and hold a valid Canadian study permit
• Students must meet the academic progress requirements of their program, and not have outstanding probationary admission requirements, or be concurrently receiving external awards or sponsorships, or be self-funded
