International Scholarships for Taught Masters Students - Round 2 is offered by the University of Kent to international students. International Scholarships for Taught Masters Students - Round 2 is available for students from any country who want to study Masters Degree, Masters Certificate and Masters Diploma in the UK at the University of Kent. Every year, the university selects 8 candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is GBP 3000 at University of Kent. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility

Applicants for this scholarship will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Hold or be due to receive a UK First Class Honours degree or equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Submitted a formal application to the University of Kent for your chosen taught Master’s programme of study.
  • Accepted an unconditional offer for their programme from the University of Kent, due to start in September

Application Process for this scholarship

  • Applicants will need to submit:
    • A personal statement of no more than 500 words outlining: “why you feel you should be awarded the scholarship and how you might support Kent in its efforts as a global institution.” This document should be uploaded in word or pdf format only, other formats will be rejected
  • Applicants will be notified of the final decision shortly thereafter. If successful, scholarship offer must be accepted within 4 weeks of award
  • Applications for the International Scholarship should be made via your applicant portal

  • Please note this scholarship is available to overseas fee-paying students only. EU students who are eligible for the lower EU fee-rate for September are not eligible for this award
  • Scholarships will be shortlisted based on academic achievement to date. Final decisions will also take into consideration your full programme application and the statement provided
  • The University of Kent reserves the right not to allocate the awards if the selection panel identifies no suitable candidates
