Scholarship Overview

International Student and Scholar Services Scholarships is offered by the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities . International Student and Scholar Services Scholarships is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Need & Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is USD 5000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

• All international freshmen students are automatically considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship (a merit-based scholarship for international students)
• Candidates are more likely to receive an award if they demonstrate financial need within the range of available scholarship funding
