Scholarship Overview

International Student Award for Academic Excellence is applicable to only Bachelors courses. This is a merit based scholarship. International Student Award for Academic Excellence award up to one time to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship Varies each year. All international students irrespective of their Nationality can apply for a International Student Award for Academic Excellence. If an applicant has already received a free bursary or has applied for another scholarship offered by the university, then he/she is not eligible for this scholarship. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

• Eligible candidates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 90% to 94.9% will receive $2,000; candidates with a GPA of 95% or higher will receive $3,000

• Fifty (50) of these scholarships are awarded each year, valued at $10,000 per year

• The scholarship is renewable for an additional three years of full-time undergraduate study if you maintain high academic standing (B GPA) each year, which would bring the total funding to $40,000 over four years

Eligibility

• Student must be an undergraduate LA&PS major and an international student, paying international fees.
• Students must have earned atleast 30 credits in each for first, second, third and fourth-year international students in the Faculty of LA&PS.
