International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship are offered at Australian National University to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only 2 students. International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship are valued at AUD 8292 for 2 students who qualify from Australian National University. Also, the International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship at Australian National University are filed separately. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. Along with the International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to Australian National University Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards Australian National University community and of course the academic achievements.

Applicants :
must have achieved at an excellent level in their final years of schooling prior to commencing at ANU, as demonstrated by excellent academic results in their qualifications
must have received an offer of admission into an undergraduate program offered by the College to commence in teaching period for which they are applying for this scholarship
Will commence an undergraduate program within the College for the first time
Preference will be given to following candidates:
A Selection Committee will be appointed and will make a recommendation for this Scholarship based on academic merit, and the program of study which the applicants have applied for. Consideration may also be given to any other factors which the Selection Committee considers to be appropriate and in line with the College’s strategic direction and priorities.

The University may terminate the Scholarship at any time and at the University’s sole discretion if the conduct of the scholar is deemed to be unsatisfactory.
If the scholar withdraws from the program (which the Scholarship was offered for) within 12 months, then the Scholarship will be terminated and the Dean of the College (or nominee) may determine that the value of the Scholarship should be refunded by the scholar to the College on a pro-rata basis as at the date of withdrawal.
