Scholarship Overview

IUPUI Chancellor's Scholar Program is a type of scholarship which is offered by the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis . IUPUI Chancellor's Scholar Program is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is USD 21500. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS and SAT. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. The following documentation is required from students in order to apply for the scholarship: LOR, Essays and Official Transcripts.

  • Submit a reference form specific to the scholarship itself
    • This recommender must be someone other than the school counselor who will be providing your reference for admission to the Honors College and cannot be a family member
