Scholarship Overview

James J. Rhatigan Leadership Scholarship is offered by the Wichita State University. This scholarship is for pursuing a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree, The James J. Eligibility

All applicants must be:

• Be currently enrolled as a Wichita State University student
• Undergraduates must have completed sixty (60) undergraduate credits before the fall semester for which the scholarship is awarded. Graduate students must have completed at least twelve (12) graduate credit hours.
• Have at least two additional semesters of course work to complete as a full-time student
• Enroll as a full-time student during the period of the award
• Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 throughout the award period

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Illustration of leadership skills
• Commitment to academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or above)
• Financial need
• Service to the University and community
