Scholarship Overview

Jane Elizabeth Ham Memorial Scholarship is applicable to only Bachelors only. This is a merit-based scholarship. Jane Elizabeth Ham Memorial Scholarship award up to CAD 6000 each year to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship varies each year. All international students irrespective of their countries can apply for a Jane Elizabeth Ham Memorial Scholarship.

Eligibility

• The scholarship is awarded to a student entering first year of any undergraduate program in the Faculty on the basis of outstanding academic achievement

• Candidates are required to complete a certification with excellent results in the grade 12 prerequisite requirements, with one of the following boards:

  • All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE or
  • Indian School Certificate (awarded by CISCE) or
  • Year 12 State Board Exams with excellent results
• PTE-an overall score of 65 with no part below 60.
• TOEFL-a total score of 89 with 22 in each of Speaking and Writing.
• DUOLINGO-an overall score of 120, with no subscore below 100
• IELTS: The minimum requirement is an overall band of 6.5, with no band below 6.0

• All applicants to the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering are required to present senior level courses in:

  • Mathematics (including Calculus)
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • English
• To be eligible for any scholarship or award granted solely on academic standing, a student must normally have completed not less than the normal full load (approximately 5.0 credits units) within the two sessions upon which the award is based
• A student whose program in these two sessions contains repeated courses will only be eligible if the aggregate of new courses is equal to or greater than 5.0 credits
