Scholarship Overview

Jeffrey Aho Memorial Award is a type of scholarship which is offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only single student. Jeffrey Aho Memorial Award are valued at CAD 1600 for single student who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Jeffrey Aho Memorial Award is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Jeffrey Aho Memorial Award at University of Waterloo are filed separately. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: CV. Along with the Jeffrey Aho Memorial Award application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Jeffrey Aho Memorial Award would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

• Must have shown extracurricular involvement in debating and/or student politics

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to students who have participated in debating competitions or student government while attending the University of Waterloo
