John Hodgins Memorial Scholarship is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering,Bachelor of Engineering Civil Engineering and Management,Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Management,Bachelor of Engineering & Management from McMaster University in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1500 and offered on a one time basis. To be eligible for the John Hodgins Memorial Scholarship at McMaster University in Canada applicants would be required to have passed : 12th and have appear for the following exams: TOEFL, IELTS and PTE.

Eligibility

Qualification requirements:

  • Applicants must have passed high school 
  • Hold all India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE / Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE.
  • Must be an international student entering faculty of engineering program
  • Admissions average of 90% or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and attributes, involvement in extra-curricular and/or volunteer activities in the community
  • English language requirements: 
    • IELTS- 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening)
    • TOEFL- 86 overall with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening)
    • PTE- 60 overall with minimum score of 60 in Writing and Speaking
