Every year, the International Students Office of La Trobe University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. La Trobe Excellence Scholarships is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Master of Engineering (Civil). If we consider the amount of the La Trobe Excellence Scholarships, then it varies each semester. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program
Be a new international student applying for 2022 or 2023 intakes
Be a full fee-paying student (Non-sponsored)
Academic Requirements:
Successful completion of a 4 year Australian Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent)
Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in an engineering-related field
According to Weighted Average Marks, the scholarship amount varies as given below:
LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 55 – 69.99 gets a 15 % scholarship on annual fees
LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 70 -74.99 gets a 20 % scholarship on annual fees
LTU WAM (or equivalent) of 75 and above gets a 25 % scholarship on annual fees
Must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
IELTS: Score of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0
TOEFL: Overall 79 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing
PTE: Overall score of 56 with no communicative skill score less than 46
Interview: Applicants may be required to attend an interview

Applicants must submit a complete application for the course commencing in Semester 1 (March) or Semester 2 (July) or Summer 1 / Term 6 (November) intake of 2022 at La Trobe University - Victorian campuses.

A detailed resume
A personal statement of no more than 300 words or a 3-4 minute video to detail "Why you should be awarded with the La Trobe University Excellence Scholarship".
