Scholarship Overview

Loyalist College Athletic Scholarship is offered by the Loyalist College . Loyalist College Athletic Scholarship is awarded to Masters Certificate students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a semester basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is CAD 3000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

• All applicants must satisfy the normal entry requirements of Loyalist College and be registered in a full-time program with full-time status
• Applicants must have a diploma or degree in any discipline from a recognized college or university or equivalent
• Applicants must excel in their chosen sport and demonstrate an ability to compete at the Provincial (OCAA) and National (CCAA) level. In most cases, the applicants must have been recruited by the Varsity coach or a member of the Athletic Department
• English language requirement:
  • TOEFL: With a minimum of 21 in each component
  • IELTS: With no bands less than 6.0 in each section
