Scholarship Overview

LSEF-UMass Scholarship (M.S. in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science) provides financial support, to academically excellent Indian students, for pursuing any Bachelors Degree course at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, This scholarship is specifically meant for Indian students who are pursuing full-time Bachelors Degree course in BBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. LSEF-UMass Scholarship (M.S. in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science) for BBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management in BBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management, at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, involves a one_time scholarship award of that can be used to pay for the tuition,application. Students must note that accommodation, health cover, application fees, etc. do not fall within the purview of this scholarship. Moreover, this scholarship will be awarded to a maximum of 5 students, one of whom might belong to a country other than India. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: SOP and LOR. Students are not required to submit a separate application for applying to the LSEF-UMass Scholarship (M.S. in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science), as their application will be automatically considered at the time of course application. Students are expected to return to India after the completion of their academic course.

Eligibility

• Applicants need to be Indian citizens
• Applicants who have completed a minimum of three years of undergraduate (bachelor) degree in any discipline from an accredited institution or University in India are eligible to apply
• Applicants should have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their Undergraduate degree, 12th and 10th grades (or equivalent)
• Applicants should have studied Mathematics as a subject up to a minimum of 12th grade or equivalent
• GRE and TOEFL/IELST examination scores are not mandatory for admission
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an aptitude assessment and personal interview with the selection committee comprising of LSEF and UMass Amherst representatives

Selection Process:

1. Submit an Expression of Interest
2. Candidates will receive an invitation to complete and submit an online application form along with all requirements including a statement of purpose and recommendation letters
3. Selections will be made on a rolling basis until all the scholarships are granted and accepted. Therefore, early application is encouraged
