MA in Journalism and International Affairs (MAJIA) Scholarship is offered by the University College Dublin to international students. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is Euro 10000 at University College Dublin. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade.   • Students who have been awarded the Scholarship will be paid a stipend of €10,000. Students will receive three equal stipend payments of €3,333, each one after the start of the trimester

Additional Information

  • If awarded, the scholarship cannot be combined with any other tuition scholarship. In the instance that an applicant is awarded more than one scholarship offer, they will receive the scholarship of greater financial value
  • Following notification of a scholarship offer, students must accept their scholarship offer online within the timeframe stipulated in the Offer Letter
  • Candidates for the scholarship must pay the deposit required upon acceptance of an offer to study at UCD
  • The scholarship is non-transferable and will apply only to the programme and academic term (or ‘commencement date’) associated with the offer letter that contains the scholarship award. Once the offer of the scholarship has been issued, a student who declines the initial offer of admission to UCD may not transfer the scholarship to another program
