Maastricht University offers the Maastricht University Holland-High Potential scholarship. Every year, the International Students Office of Maastricht University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Maastricht University Holland-High Potential scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like MSc in Biomedical Sciences. If we consider the amount of the Maastricht University Holland-High Potential scholarship, then it varies each semester. Applicants must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant domain
Relevant domain are: Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Technology, Health Sciences (Biology and Health), Life Sciences, (Veterinary) Medicine, University College (depending on courses followed, > 50% biology)
GRE with a minimum score of 144 in Verbal reasoning, 144 in Quantitative reasoning and 3.0 in Analytical writing
Applicants:
Must hold nationality in a country outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland or Surinam and meet the requirements for obtaining an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands
Must have applied for admission to a full-time Master’s programme at Maastricht University
Must have never participated in a degree-seeking higher education programme, a primary education programme, or secondary education programme in the Netherlands Students who completed exchange programmes in the Netherlands are welcome to apply
Must not be over 35 years of age
Must have obtained excellent results during prior education programmes, as demonstrated by the latest grade transcript or certified by academic excellence
If several applicants are equally qualified, University will give preference to applicants whose academic transcript or certified letter of academic excellence demonstrate that they are among the top 5% of the 2022/23 scholarship programme applicants
