Scholarship Overview

Macquarie University India Scholarship is awarded for pursuing Master of Professional Accounting at Macquarie University. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 5000 and the scholarship amount will be given semester wise. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

• This scholarship is applicable for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the University

• Amount of AU$ 10,000 is awarded annually towards the tuition fees for the length of the course
• AU$ 5,000 is credited against the tuition fees each semester (2 semesters in a year)

Eligibility

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum GPA of 4.50 on a 7.0 scale, which is equivalent to 50% - 54% in India
• Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency with one of the following:
  • TOEFL - Overall 83 with a minimum of 12 in listening, 13 in reading, 18 in speaking and 21 in writing
  • IELTS - Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
  • PTE - Overall 58 with 50 in each sub-section
