Scholarship Overview

Macquarie University Regional Scholarship is awarded for pursuing Bachelor of Commerce,Bachelor of Business Administration at Macquarie University. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 5000 and the scholarship amount will be given yearly only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

• This scholarship is valued at AUD $5,000 per year for the duration of your Bachelor's or Master's coursework degree (AUD $2,500 will be credited each session).

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student studying a Bachelor or Master level degree on-campus (or online and/or offshore if impacted by COVID-19 border restrictions) and meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of Mongolia, South Korea, Russia, Japan, Lebanon, or one of the countries located in either the ASEAN, South Asia, African, Latin American or European regions.
• Adhere to the terms and conditions of this scholarship.

• Applicant must have passed standard XII from ISC/CBSE/State Boards with a minimum of 65% (No minimum percentage is required for Bachelor of Business Administration)
• Prerequisite: Mathematics (Applicants who do not have this knowledge are advised to include a mathematics elective unit in their first year of study) 
• Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency with one of the following:
  
  • TOEFL - Overall 83 with a minimum of 12 in listening, 13 in reading, 18 in speaking and 21 in writing
  • IELTS - Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
  • PTE - Overall 58 with 50 in each sub-section
  • ELP Waiver - Applicants may satisfy the English language requirements if they have completed the senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC
