Scholarship Overview

Macquarie University Regional Scholarship is awarded for pursuing Master of Applied Finance at Macquarie University. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 5000 and the scholarship amount will be given yearly only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. For the purpose of receiving the scholarship, students must have job experience. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: CV.

• Amount of AU$ 5,000 is awarded annually towards the tuition fees for the length of the course
• AU$ 2,500 is credited against the tuition fees each semester (2 semesters in a year)
• To remain eligible for this scholarship, the applicants must stay enrolled in their original approved course of study and pass all units within the course

Eligibility

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institution 
• Two years full-time equivalent relevant professional work experience is required
• Assumed knowledge- Bachelor degree or equivalent and approximately 2 years work experience in finance or similar area
• Applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree, but can demonstrate a willingness and ability to study and substantial relevant work experience may be eligible for entry
• If the prior degree is in a non-finance related field (such as arts, law, IT, engineering, or science), applicants will be required to study up to 4 gateway
