London School of Economics and Political Science offers the Margaret Basu Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of London School of Economics and Political Science awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Margaret Basu Scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like MSc in Statistics (Financial Statistics),MSc In Statistics,MSc Quantitative Methods for Risk Management,MSc Economics (Two Year Programme),MSc Economics,MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics,MSc Finance and Private Equity,MSc Risk and Finance,MSc Finance and Economics etc as given below. If we consider the amount of the Margaret Basu Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: LOR, CV, Financial Documents, Extra Curricular Activities and Official Transcripts.
