Scholarship Overview

MBA awards is offered by the Massey University to international students. MBA awards is available for students from all countries who want to study Masters Degree in the New Zealand at the Massey University. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is NZD 6000 at Massey University. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Master of Business Administration (MBA). To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. For the purpose of receiving the scholarship, students must have job experience. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship:

  • Excellence in Scholarship Award for $2,000 for those with an undergraduate degree with an A- or above average in the highest level courses, or equivalent
  • Experienced Professional Award for $2,000 for those with five or more years relevant work experience (full-time)
  • Masterful Learning Award for $2,000 for those with a master's degree Massey recognizes in addition to holding an undergraduate bachelor qualification
  • Up to $6,000 if applicant meets all the criteria

Eligibility

  • Applicants must:-
    • have been awarded or qualified for a relevant bachelor’s degree, having achieved at least a B- grade average in the highest level courses, or equivalent
    • have completed at least three years of postgraduate fulltime work; and
    • Have been selected into the programme on the basis of selection process
  • IELTS - 6.5 (no band less than 6.0)
  • TOEFL - 90 overall (minimum 20 in Writing)
  • PTE - 58 overall (minimum 50 in communicative skills)
