Scholarship Overview

MBS BEST Scholarship is offered by the Munich Business School . MBS BEST Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a semester basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is Euro 2850. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: CV and Official Transcripts.

• The scholarships have a maximum amount of 2,850 € per semester (10-50% on the first and second Bachelor semesters)
• Students with special commitments can continue to receive support after the second semester
• The scholarship is also aimed at Pre-Bachelor students.

Eligibility

• Applications for this scholarship are considered only if the following requirements are met:
  • The average grade of “very good” in school diploma
  • Willingness to commit to MBS (e.g. student initiative, MBS ambassador at trade fairs and events)
  • Voluntary commitments (proof is desirable)
• ELP Scores:
  • TOEFL iBT: min. 85 (min. 22 in writing and min. 20 in all other bands
  • IELTS: min. level of 6.5
  • ELP requirement may be waived if applicants have completed their schooling in English (i.e., High School Diploma, IB)
• Personal Interview:
  • The personal interview (approx. 60 minutes) with an MBS professor consists of three parts:
    • Interview on the applicant's motivation and expectations for studying
    • Short presentation followed by a discussion (applicants will receive the presentation topic with an invitation to the discussion)
    • Clarification of the questions about studies and program start
