Scholarship Overview

ECPI University offers the Merit Scholarship. Every year, the International Students Office of ECPI University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Merit Scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Master of Science in Information Systems. If we consider the amount of the Merit Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: LOR, Financial Documents and Official Transcripts.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have a high school or college grade point average equivalency of 2.75 or better, based on the last degree completed
• Prospective or enrolled international students in all programs are eligible to apply
• Applicants must complete their admissions paperwork
• Work experience is preferred for Master of Science in Information Systems students
• English Language Proficiency waiver: 
  • If the medium of instruction of high school was English, submit a copy of high school diploma or transcripts which should state the medium of instruction

• Documents required:
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from a previous or current employer verifying the applicant's work and achievements in the field in which they wish to study (letter must be on the employer’s letterhead). The work experience must be related to the intended field of study 
  • Official transcripts
  • Official Financial Statements that verify sufficient funds to cover the cost of the first academic year of studies as well as all living expenses. If the financial statement is in the name of a sponsor, an affidavit of support form is also required
  • Proof of Health Insurance or Waiver Form
  • Copy of the applicant’s passport
