Mike Shaikh Bursary in Business is a type of scholarship which is offered by the University of Calgary . Mike Shaikh Bursary in Business is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Need & Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is CAD 1600. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility

• Offered annually to continuing international undergraduate student in the Haskayne School of Business, majoring in Accounting entering second, third or fourth year in any faculty
• The bursary amount will be awarded to students on the basis of:
  • Academic merit
  • Financial need

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• First preference will be given to a student whose permanent home address is in Pakistan
• Second preference will be given to a student who is a member of the Pakistani Students Society
