Eligibility

  • Applicants must be an International student
  • Selection criteria will be Based on academic achievement in accounting or finance units during the final two years of degree and any prizes awarded for academic achievement
  • Final selection will be by a panel interview
  • Course specific requirements:
    • An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a major in the chosen honours area of study
    • A distinction average (70%) or above in four units (24 points) in the relevant discipline units at level three is required
    • The specialisations require completion of specific units, or their equivalent, in addition to the requirements. Please note applicants from other universities or from other Monash degrees will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
    • Economics specialisation
      • Applicants should have completed the following units in undergraduate degree:
        • ECC2000 Intermediate microeconomics
        • ECC2010 Intermediate macroeconomics
        • ETC2410 Introductory econometrics
  • ELP Subscores
    • IELTS- With minimum band scores: Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0 and Speaking 6.0
    • PTE- With minimum scores: Listening 50, Reading 50, Speaking 50 and Writing 50
    • TOEFL- With minimum scores: Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18 and Writing 21
