Scholarship Overview

Monash High Achiever Award is offered by the Monash University - Malaysia . Monash High Achiever Award is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a semester basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is Malaysian Ringgit 5000 Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. • RM5,000/semester, subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress
• To retain this scholarship, students:
  • Must maintain the maintenance score stated in the offer letter
  • Must enroll a full load of 24 credit points
  • Are not permitted to change course
  • Must complete the course within the normal duration. No extensions will be permitted
  • Are not permitted to take on other financial assistance at any point of the studies

• Applicants must possess either of the following certificates
  • All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) - 90%
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC) - 85%
  • Senior Secondary School Certificate/ State boards - 95%
• prerequisite subject: Mathematics is a formal prerequisite for the Bachelor's program
• prerequisite subject: Mathematics, and at least one of Chemistry or Physics (for all Engineering Courses only)
• prerequisite subject: Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry (for Bachelor of Food Science and Technology)

Application and acceptance process:

• An application for Admission to the University will constitute an application for the scholarship
• All applications for admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for the scholarship
• All successful candidates will be offered the scholarship along with the Offer of Admission to Monash University Malaysia
• If students are eligible, they will receive notice of the scholarship when they receive their letter of offer
• To accept the scholarship, students must follow the steps below before the lapse date that is specified in their letter of offer:
  • Accept the offer to study at Monash University Malaysia, making sure you have completed all the relevant forms
  • Complete the Scholarship Acknowledgement Form
  • Submit the forms to:
