Monash International Merit Scholarship is offered by the Monash University . Monash International Merit Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is AUD 10000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility

  • Intending to enroll full-time in undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia
  • For commencing students, they must have received a Monash offer
  • The applicant will be required to participate in at least three Marketing and/or Scholarship promotional activities, which include attending official scholarship functions and participating in marketing activities and networking events
  • Applicant must maintain a distinction average (70% or above) each semester to retain this scholarship
  • Current students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) course or the Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) course must have completed at least three semesters

Preference will be given to following candidates:

  • Based on academic achievement
  • Current students must have achieved a minimum weighted average mark of 85
  • Students will also be assessed on their scholarship application statement (500 words), and their potential to be an ambassador for Monash University
  • Preference will be given to commencing students
