Ms. Carole Solberg and Dr. John Hoddinott Graduate Teaching Award at the Memorial University of Newfoundland are designed to provide financial assistance to talented students from all over the world who wish to pursue their studies. Eligibility

• Awarded annually to a full-time student enrolled in a graduate degree program in the Faculty of Science or Education
• Selection will be based on excellence in teaching demonstrated through a strong ability to communicate the subject matter being taught, providing learners with a comprehensive and coherent understanding of the subject matter, and an aptitude for generating learners' enthusiasm for the subjects
• The award will be rotated annually between the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education
• Students are only eligible to receive the award once.

Application Process for this scholarship

Application process:

• Eligible students should submit to their Faculty a one-page letter of application, a curriculum vitae and two letters of recommendation (one of which should be from the student's direct academic supervisor).
• The award will be granted by the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the respective Deans of the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education.
