Scholarship Overview

Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarships is offered by the Newcastle University . Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarships is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is GBP 12600. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS .

Eligibility

Eligible applicants for the 50% scholarships applicants must:

• be domiciled in one of one of the following countries: India, Kenya, Malaysia, South Africa, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, USA
• be assessed as international for fee purposes:
• hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2022/23 academic year
• already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent

• academic ability
• evidence of commitment to studies
• quality of application
