Scholarship Overview

Erasmus University Rotterdam offers the Holland Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of Erasmus University Rotterdam awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Holland Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Bachelor in Management of International Social Challenges. If we consider the amount of the Holland Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL and IELTS. • The Erasmus University NL scholarship amounts from € 5,000 up to € 10,000. You will receive this in the first year of your studies. Please note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship
• The scholarship will only be rewarded if you start studying in the same programme for which you have applied, have been granted admission and awarded the scholarship

Eligibility

• Applicants 
  
  • Must have a nationality of non-EEA
  • have never been enrolled as a full degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands
  • have not obtained a diploma at an educational institution in the Netherlands
  • are or will be accepted for one of the bachelor programmes of ESSB.
  • are considered an excellent applicant, as apparent from your motivation and grade point average at the moment of application (demonstrated through your academic record). The rule of thumb is that the average grade should be the equivalent to the Dutch grade of 8.0 on the Dutch grading scale of 1 to 10
