Scholarship Overview

Norman Esch Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students Fund is a type of scholarship which is offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Need Based Scholarship, which is provided to only 10 students. Norman Esch Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students Fund are valued at CAD 2000 for 10 students who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Norman Esch Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students Fund is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Norman Esch Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students Fund at University of Waterloo are filed separately. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. Along with the Norman Esch Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students Fund application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Norman Esch Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students Fund would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Scholarship amount details

Max scholarship per student: CAD 2,000 => Rs 1,21,500

Conversion rate used: 1 CAD = Rs. 60.44 (last updated 25th November 2024)

• Ten stipends, valued at $2,000 each, are awarded annually to first-year, full-time undergraduate co-op students in the Faculty of Engineering who have not secured a co-op work term placement.

• The Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre will select the individual recipients through a competitive interview process after students have applied to the online job posting for the Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students.

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to students with financial need who are not receiving any other significant support
