OACETT Student Experience Award is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology,Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Georgian College in Canada. This award can be awarded to 2 candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a one time basis.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be enrolled in an engineering or applied science program that is recognized by OACETT
• The recipient must demonstrate an interest in entrepreneurship and/or innovation
• Cover letter must outline the student’s business case and how it relates to their program of study

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to international students

• Provide a translation of your transcript if applicable
• Provide a statement explaining how receiving an award, scholarship or bursary will assist you in achieving your academic goals. Detailed information regarding the statement is provided when completing the general application
• Letter of referene
• Studnets will be asked to complete a budget if they wish to be considered for award, scholarship and bursary opportunities which require financial need
