One-year Entrance Scholarships are offered at McGill University to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University student. One-year Entrance Scholarships are valued at CAD 3000 for maximum number of students, depending on the University student who qualify from McGill University. Also, the One-year Entrance Scholarships is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for One-year Entrance Scholarships at McGill University are filed separately. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. Along with the One-year Entrance Scholarships application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for One-year Entrance Scholarships would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to McGill University Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards McGill University community and of course the academic achievements.

  • Applicants must get a minimum overall average of 60% in each year in Xth, XIth and XIIth as well as in all prerequisite subjects

    • TOEFL: 90 with a minimum score of 21 in each component
    • PTE: 65 with Individual component scores of 60 or better
