• For over 20 years, the OiB club has pursued its mission: to help members fulfil their career development goals and to make the business world more inclusive. With over 900 members, including engaged alumni, OiB is one of the most active clubs on campus for both LGBTQ+ students and allies. OiB partners with employers, from diverse sectors, committed to the highest diversity and inclusion standards through targeted career events and opportunities to network.

Eligibility

• This scholarship is open for applicants who have been admitted on to one of our MBA, Masters in Finance Full-time or Masters in Finance Part-time programmes
• This scholarship aims to support exceptional candidates who intend to contribute to LGBTQ+ equality and the Out in Business Club during their time at London Business School.
• University expect the recipient(s) of the Out in Business Scholarship to be highly engaged in leading LGBTQ+ diversity initiatives in our community. As part of accepting the award, the students will also agree to take a leading role in Out in Business initiatives during their time in business school.

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to those whose prior experience, and personal and professional goals help to raise the profile of LGBTQ+ people in business and enterprise.

• Essay : The Scholarships Committee will carefully consider your application.  Members of the Scholarships Committee may also consider feedback from the LBS Out in Business Club.
  Please complete the essay question, beginning your answer below the question and giving word count for your answer.  
  • Please do not write more than the specified word limit. Any extra words or essays may be disregarded. 
  • 'How do you plan to contribute to LGBTQ+ diversity initiatives during your time as a London Business School student and later once you have graduated? How have you contributed to such initiatives already personally or in your career, and what have you achieved?'  (Max 500 words)

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
