Scholarship Overview

Postgraduate Academic Excellence Awards is a type of scholarship which is awarded for pursuing Master of Data Science and Innovation at University of Technology, Sydney. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 15490 and the scholarship amount will be given one time only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. For the purpose of receiving the scholarship, students must have job experience. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: CV and Official Transcripts.

Eligibility

• The academic qualification used to support the application for admission must:

  • have been completed with a GPA of at least 4.0 on a 7.00 GPA scale, and
  • be in a relevant discipline, such as information technology, mathematical sciences, physics and astronomy, engineering, accounting, business and management, banking, finance and related fields, or economics and econometrics.
• Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.
• Applicants must satisfy the English Language Proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
  • IELTS- Overall 6.5 with a writing score of 6.0
  • TOEFL- Overall score of 79 with a writing score of 21
  • PTE- Score of 58-64

 HOW TO APPLY

• UTS International will automatically consider all commencing international students applying for a postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship.  There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the coursework application.
