Scholarship Overview

Postgraduate Academic Excellence Awards is a type of scholarship which is awarded for pursuing Master of Information Technology at University of Technology, Sydney. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 17002 and the scholarship amount will be given yearly only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Exams Details

Eligibility

• Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification OR
• Applicant has to submit other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrate potential to pursue graduate studies
• If applicant does not have one of the above qualifications but have a TAFE/AQF Diploma (or overseas equivalent) and two years related work experience, he/she may be considered for entry to the graduate certificate leading to the master's program Applicants in this category should provide a CV with their application
• Applicants must satisfy the English Language Proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
  • IELTS- Overall 6.5 with a writing score of 6.0
  • TOEFL- Overall score of 79 with a writing score of 21
  • PTE- Score of 58-64

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
