Scholarship Overview

La Trobe University offers the Postgraduate Regional Campus Scholarships. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of La Trobe University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Postgraduate Regional Campus Scholarships is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Master of Computer Science,Master of Telecommunication and Network Engineering,Master of Data Science,Master of Electronic Engineering,Master of Cybersecurity (Computer Science),Master of Education,Master of Teaching (Primary). If we consider the amount of the Postgraduate Regional Campus Scholarships, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

Applicants:

• Must have a four-year Bachelor degree or an international equivalent
• Must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand
• Must be applying to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree for any of the 2022 intakes
• Must be applying to any of the La Trobe University Regional Campus
• Must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
  • IELTS: Score of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0
  • TOEFL: Overall 79 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing
  • PTE: Overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50
