Scholarship Overview

President's Scholar of Excellence Program UoT is applicable to only Bachelors only. This is a merit-based scholarship. President's Scholar of Excellence Program UoT award up to CAD 10000 each year to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship 150 each year. All international students irrespective of their countries can apply for a President's Scholar of Excellence Program UoT.

Eligibility

  • To be awarded to the University’s most outstanding secondary school students on admission. Recipients must be applying to the first year of direct-entry undergraduate studies
  • Students must be registered full time for both the fall and winter sessions
  • Students are considered on the basis of their average at the time of admission

Application Process for this scholarship

  • Application process:Outstanding domestic and international secondary school students are considered automatically for the President’s Scholars of Excellence Program (PSEP) upon admission (i.e. a separate application is not required)
  • Documents required:
    • Submit full documentation (transcripts) for all secondary and post-secondary studies attempted
      • Applicants may also be required to submit the online ‘self-reported grades’ form
    • Proof of English language proficiency
    • Standardized test results, or other supplemental information (if applicable)
    • Notarized translations of any documents issued in a language other than English or French are also required

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.

Additional Information

  • Additional features may be offered by the admitting division. Please refer to your letter of offer for further details
  • Applicants who have previously attended a post-secondary institution are not eligible for PSEP consideration
  • Payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration in September at the division/faculty making the offer (i.e. the scholarship offer is division/faculty specific)
  • The funds in payment of the award will be credited to the student's fees account following registration in September. After deduction of outstanding fees, any balance remaining will be issued by direct deposit
