Scholarship Overview

President's Undergraduate Scholarships are offered at Imperial College London to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University. President's Undergraduate Scholarships are valued at GBP 1000 for maximum number of students, depending on the University who qualify from Imperial College London. Also, the President's Undergraduate Scholarships helps students in reducing tuition on a yearly basis, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for President's Undergraduate Scholarships at Imperial College London are filed separately. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as IELTS and PTE. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: LOR and Official Transcripts. Along with the President's Undergraduate Scholarships application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for President's Undergraduate Scholarships would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to Imperial College London Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards Imperial College London community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor: Applicants must have passed 12 from CISCE - ISC or CBSE – AISSE with 90% overall across five subjects with a score of 90/95% in relevant subjects
  • Subjects required:
    • MSci Chemistry: Chemistry, Maths, other approved subject (preferred subjects are Biology, Economics or Physics)
    • MEng Chemical Engineering: Chemistry and Mathematics
    • MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a Year Abroad: Mathematics and Physics and third relevant subject
    • MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management: Mathematics and Physics with any third subject
    • MEng Aeronautical Engineering with a Year Abroad: Mathematics and Physics with any third subject and fourth subject
    • MEng Aeronautical Engineering with a Year in Industry: Mathematics and Physics and two more relevant subjects
    • MEng Mechanical Engineering: Mathematics and Physics with any third subject but further mathematics subject is preferred
    • MEng Electronic and Information Engineering: Mathematics and Physics with any third subject
  • A good performance in the JEE Advanced may also be required
  • IELTS: 6.5 with a minimum 6.0 in all elements
  • PTE: 62 with a minimum 56 in all elements
  • Interview: Mandatory for all applicants
