Scholarship Overview

Presidential Awards Presidential Awards is offered by the Adelphi University to international students. Presidential Awards is available for students from all countries who want to study Bachelors Degree in the USA at the Adelphi University. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is USD 28000 at Adelphi University. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed high school 
• First-year students are expected to have successfully completed a minimum of 16 academic units: 
  • English (4 units)
  • Science (3 units) (General science may be included)
  • Mathematics (3 units)
  • Foreign language (2–3 units)
  • Additional units to be chosen from history, social studies and the above fields (4 units)
• English language requirements- TOEFL- overall 80, IELTS- 6.5 
• Applicants must be enrolled  in full-time study at Adelphi University (a minimum of twelve (12) credits per semester) in a flat rate tuition program leading to a bachelor’s degree. They must successfully complete a minimum of 18 credits of this course load per academic year
• Applicants have to maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 each academic year while enrolled in courses leading to a bachelor’s degree at Adelphi University

Application process- No separate application required for financial aid. If you are eligible, you will recieve the scholarship offer letter from admission office
