RBC Water Scholars Graduate Entrance Scholarship are offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University. RBC Water Scholars Graduate Entrance Scholarship are valued at CAD 5000 for maximum number of students, depending on the University who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the RBC Water Scholars Graduate Entrance Scholarship helps students in reducing tuition on a yearly basis, offered in the first year of Masters Degree only. Applications for RBC Water Scholars Graduate Entrance Scholarship at University of Waterloo are filed separately. To be considered for this award, applicants must have a Bachelor degree. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: LOR. Along with the RBC Water Scholars Graduate Entrance Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for RBC Water Scholars Graduate Entrance Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Graduate students registered at the University of Waterloo who are conducting research in water and are registered in the collaborative Integrated Water Management Program are eligible for this scholarship
Applicant must be conducting research in water and are registered in the collaborative Integrated Water Management Program
Applicants must hold minimum 80% average in each of the last two years of full-time academic study
An applicant must have 4 yrs bachelor honors degree or 3 yrs bachelor with a master degree
Applicants must have strong preparation in economics and in the mathematical tools and have studied the following programs:
advanced microeconomics
advanced macroeconomics
advanced econometrics
mathematical economics; as an equivalent two terms of calculus and one term of linear algebra
IELTS: 7.0 with Writing & Speaking 6.5 each
TOEFL: 90 with Writing & Speaking- 25 each
PTE: 63 with Writing & Speaking 65 each
